• Usage Data: We collect anonymous analytics data about how you interact with the App to help us improve functionality and user experience. This includes feature usage frequency and performance metrics.

2. Use of AccessibilityService API

Circle To Search uses Android's AccessibilityService API to provide its core features. The use of this service enables:

• Contextual Awareness: The service allows the App to read the text content on your screen. This is essential for features like on-demand translation. We explicitly ignore password fields and do not collect sensitive data.
• Screen Capture: The service enables the App to take screenshots when you activate it. This is used for features like OCR (text recognition) and visual search. Screenshots are processed and then discarded; they are not stored.
• Convenient Activation: The service allows us to display overlays like a floating button or gesture-based triggers, making it easy to activate the assistant from any screen.

For Users with Disabilities:

These features can also benefit users with disabilities. For example, the screen-reading capability can be repurposed to help visually impaired users by reading on-screen text aloud through an AI voice, and gesture-based activation provides an alternative for users who have difficulty with precise tapping.

Our use of the AccessibilityService API is solely for providing these user-facing features and improving accessibility. We do not use it to collect data for marketing or any other purpose not disclosed in this policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App.
• Enable features such as translation, OCR, and voice commands.
• Understand how users interact with our App to enhance the user experience.
